Item Levels

Equipment can be worn by anyone, but only those who have trained and refined their skills can unlock certain gear’s true potential.  The gear in the section below is all color coded to depict the minimum level requirement to unlock the power of said item in question.  If one does not meet the minimum level requirement, then only one of the allotted dice is rolled. (Example: 5D12 Damage weapon would only deal 1D12 damage instead.)

Red allows anyone, 1+, to unlock its abilities.  Tier 1.

Orange allows those who are 6+ to unlock its abilities.  Tier 2.

Gold allows those who are 11+ to unlock its abilities.  Tier 3.

Green allows those who are 16+ to unlock its abilities.  Tier 4.

Blue allows those who are 21+ to unlock its abilities.  Tier 5.

Indigo allows those who are 26+ to unlock its abilities.  Tier 6.

Crimson allows those who are 30+ to unlock its abilities.  Tier 7.

Purple are legendary, rare items which have set level requirements to unlock its abilities.

Price Guide

The price of each item is listed below.  Higher level gear or gear that has been enchanted by a socketed Soul Gem (or both) naturally will cost more.  Here are how the merchants of Outerah determining pricing for upgraded items:

  • Equipment which has a socket slot [ex. Iron Battle Axe (1)] increases the price by 50% for every socket slot added.  Only 2-H weapons can have more than 1 socket.
  • Weapons endowed with an Element are double the normal price.
  • A Soul Gem that has been socketed into a slot adds the price of the Soul Gem into the price, but subtracts 20%; the subtraction comes after adding the original price of the soul gem.  Since it is costly, and in some instances impossible to remove the Soul Gem, the empty slot and Soul Gem’s value depreciates.
  • Every upgrade the item has [ex. +4 Steel Battle Axe] increases the price by 10% of the base price every upgrade.
