You can summon everything to the field from brainless creatures up to the deities themselves. The game has been created with it being only 2 players in mind.
If people wish to have a 4 player 2v2 variant I would need to test out said mechanics. However, if you would like to test it out as well… two routes could be investigated to see viability.
- The first of which would be having two boards out on the table and taking turns with the available slots maxed for each OG. This would allow for 4 Turns in a Round. There would only be one weather effect still viable for the entire Battlefield which would be the only spot upon the 10 page sheet spread which would need to be tweaked.
- The second option would be 2 OGs sharing the same board in which all spots are shared between 2 people. 1 OG would have their Turn on odd numbered Rounds while the second OG on the same team would would then take their Turns on even numbered Rounds. I believe printing out a second Magic and Bench sheet would be required, which would allow up to 4 Benched Summon Cards. This would also make it that each OG has 4 Magic Cards to be able to use and their own Crystal still similar to the first option. This would allow it to be a 7 page Battlefield rather than a 10 page one with 4 players. Furthermore the deck would require to be slightly larger, making it that each OG would have to combine their cards to have 4 Affinities in battle. The 54 card deck would turn into 83 by adding another 29 cards (4 Magic, 12 to 13 Affinity Cards, and 12 or 13 other cards depending on what was chosen for the Affinity Cards.
