Tome of Outerah: Tabletop Edition
Welcome to the tabletop game of Outerah; If you love video games then this tabletop game is right for you! After all the mechanics stem from popular video game mechanics unlike other tabletop versions which don’t give you nearly enough customization tools to really flesh out your dream character. This page is dedicated to get you started on this 3 step plan. Every person within the world has their very own Datagotchi, a medium sized phone which houses all your personal data. Our quick reference screen shows the most important details of them. Some call it a wallpaper while others call it a character sheet.
Step 1: Pick a Race and Class Combination
Selecting your character’s race limits which classes are available to them. Not only that, but your race selection also binds you to one of three deities! Each deity is responsible for creating many races inhabiting our world! Their races have access to special powers, equipment, and abilities(classes) exclusive to them. However, there are exceptions to this rule; there is a small group of races that were not created by the deities. These are considered Unaligned (the Ungoverned) and gain none of these deity bonuses.
- Unrestricted Classes: Bishop, Commoner, Hunter, Nightblade, Performer, Sorcerer, Soul Knight, and Trickster. Any race can choose these classes!
- Lord Marcarvious: Descronvoids, Drevol, Egualoze, Humans, Humenborgs, Jaymians, Kitsoo, Orcks, Slizzix, Troll, Vamperur.

Step 2: Your Customized Style!
Yeah, yeah. This is the dreaded math part! Your Core Stats all give perks which can be helpful on your journey, and choosing the ones that fits your play style is the game! You can view the Core Stats to see what benefits each gives in order to build a character with your preferred play-style in mind! So tell me… What’s your Build?
Note: The higher a Core Stat becomes, the greater the boons in that stat becomes. Some even give you bonus skills! Choosing a few stats over evenly distributing points will make you a stronger ally for your comrades.
Note: All core stat upgrades use the ten’s place to determine how many Stat Points are required for an upgrade. 5 points are required for 51 turning into 52 while 8 points are needed from 89 to 90.

Hey now… What’s with that face? Okay fine… Don’t do the math that way. Take this here calculator I made on Google Sheets and play around with adding and subtracting points. It’ll do the math for ya! Character Sheet Calculator to Make a Copy
After your points are set, take out your D10 (or alternative dice if your race dictates as such) to roll. This is one of the most important rolls for any player. Why? Your Elemental Affinity is about to be determined! See the Element Chapter 4 to obtain your Insignia Skill as well as other perks this element provides you!

Note: Novice weapons are considered Tier 0 and cannot be upgraded. 1-Handed Novice weapons always deal 1 less damage at the end of calculation, while 2-Handed Novice weapons always deal 2 less damage. For example, if you dealt a total of five damage with your 1-handed, it will deal four after damage calculations; this same attack would deal three damage if the weapon is 2-Handed. Otherwise these training weapons are identical to the tier 1 weapon. See chapter 9 for weapon damage.
