Auto Action (Soul Gems)
Auto Actions are actions that are activated the moment they happen and after a specific circumstance in order to trigger it happens. For example, if you get hit in melee combat and have an Auto-Barrier Soul Gem (details below), your Auto-Action will activate and you will gain Barrier. Only one auto skill can be equipped at the same time; auto-action soul gems that provide positive effects, such as Barrier or Restoration, will only proc after their effect has worn off–they do not refresh the duration–unless otherwise noted. These rare Soul Gems are usually found in their elemental respective Riddle Chests at a suggested 5% drop rate, or a random Soul Gem from a mimic at a suggested 1% drop rate.
Auto Action Soul Gems | Description | Level Required | Attachment |
Auto Barrier (Light Chest) | Casts Barrier on you when you get hit; this Barrier effect only lasts for one full round. | 1+ | Armor |
Auto Crystal (Spirit Chest) | Casts Crystal on you when you get hit; this Crystal effect only lasts for one full round. | 1+ | Armor |
Auto Haste (Wind Chest) | Casts Haste on you when you get hit; this Haste effect only lasts for one full round. | 1+ | Armor |
Auto Potion Popper (Water Chest) | When you receive damage, you automatically imbibe the highest level potion in your inventory. | 1+ | Armor |
Auto Restoration (Creation Chest) | When you receive damage, you gain HP regeneration that heals yourself for Level/3D6 for 3 Rounds. | 1+ | Armor |
Auto Stealth | When you receive damage, you gain the Hidden status as an invisible cloak envelops you. If you take damage while under the effects of Hidden, you will lose this benefit, but the auto-action will trigger and you’ll quickly become Hidden once again. | 1+ | Armor |
Element Sapper (Destruction Chest) | When hit by a skill or spell, you regain MP equal to what the enemy unit’s skill/spell cost them to use/cast. | 1+ | Armor |
Elemental Chaos | When you receive damage, the elemental energy of the attack used against you shifts wildly when making contact with you. Roll a 1D10; the D10 outcomes are based off of the Elemental Affinity Wheel. The number you roll is what your enemy’s elemental attack converts to. While this can be dangerous, as the element may shift into your bane, there’s also a chance that you’ll become immune to the elemental energy of the attack, as there’s a chance for you to roll your element! | 1+ | Armor |
Oopsie Daisy (Earth Chest) | Your Auto Action activates when a unit is in an adjacent cell. When the unit attempts to move away from you, you have a chance to trip them with a low sweeping strike. If your hit connects, you deal half of your weapon damage, but they become Toppled if they fail their saving throw! | 1+ | Armor |
Status Burn | When you receive damage, your body is enveloped in harmless fire that fades as quickly as it spreads. This isn’t just for show; the flame “burns” away a negative status ailment that you’ve been afflicted with. The status ailment that’s dispelled is determined by the order of which you were afflicted. For example, if you were Poisoned two Rounds ago then Burned the previous round, the Burn is dispelled and the Poison remains. | 1+ | Armor |
