BG Egualoze
The masters of staying hidden, egualoze are always tricky to spot, and even more difficult to keep within your sights. Their abilities work to keep them blending into their environment. Their tails can be used in multiple ways to help climb, hold themselves in place, or even use to attack. Parties which prefer to slip through areas unseen may find egualoze the ideal candidate to the team. These beings are great at scouting areas for danger without being spotted due to them having a Super Charge in Stealth!

Cave to Tree:

Once creatures who inhabited caves, other races made their way inside these natural made structures.  The egualoze initially stayed hiding upon the walls of these caves awaiting their departure, but they began to conquer these homes and expand their territory.  To escape this, the egualoze took nest in the spirit world trees.  Most beings within the Spirit World cannot fly, nor climb trees, making this the perfect resting place.  Not only does it give them safety, but they are able to scout greater distances all the way up!

Egualoze Skills

These iguana-like humanoids are excellent hiders within their environment.  They can change their skin with their surroundings to camouflage, granting a Plus Charge on Stealth Talent Checks.  If they are spotted, they can fake a perfect death using their Trigger Action if the egualoze is struck, causing those with an untrained eye to believe the egualoze is dead.  Otherwise, you can actively hide each round by using your Trigger Action to disappear from any units not actively trying to spot you!  If you want to remain hidden during subsequent rounds, you’ll need to use your Trigger Action again.

Egualoze tails are quite long and can be used not only as a whip, dealing damage based on your level compared to the appropriate tier whip, but also as a rope to tie something up.  If your tail becomes a burden, ready to make your life more difficult, or someone decides to cut right through it, fear not.  In 1 week’s time your tail will grow back good as new!

These beings are great at scurrying around upon walls and ceilings.  In fact they gain a +1 Movement when on all 4 legs whether they are moving about on walls, ceilings, or even the grounds.
